The bug: In Wrath, Blizzard started introducing a lot more instanced quests. Quests that take you out of the normal "world" and into a special area, with others on the same quest. With this, they got lazy.
You accept the Gymer quest, get onto the giants back, and run to the area marked on the map. Blizzard shared this instance with TWO quests. The Gymer quest, you get no XP for killing mobs, but in this other area designed for a different quest, it's FULL of mobs you can kill for 2.3k XP a pop.
Why is this an exploit? Gymer has ZERO downtime, runs at mounted speed (100% normal speed), hits for 5k and crits for up towards 15k. You can run around two shotting mobs for 2.3k XP each, get about a level an hour.
