Blizzard has announced two new pets that will be added to the Blizzard Store "soon" (by the end of the month). Technically, there are three new pets, because there are both Alliance and Horde versions of the Moonkin Hatchling, along with the new "Mini Boss" series addition, Lil' Ragnaros.
In addition, Blizzard announced that 50% of the profits made off of the pets will be donated to the Make A Wish Foundation. Compared to many other software corporations, Blizzard has been extremely generous with giving away large amounts of money to charity. When was the last time that Nintendo did something similar, for example?
Needless to say, the pets look great, and the money is going towards a good cause.
