The website MMOSite.com analyzed the plausibility of the rumor that Blizzard’s next MMO Titan will be based on Halo. The author called it “An Analysis of a Rumor”. Assumptions are based on a speech which was made by a Blizzard official in a Interview:
Actually, it resulted from a speech made by Blizzard’s co-founder Frank Pearce in an interview with North American media. According to his speech, Blizzard’s new MMORPG, which is called Titan, will be set in the Halo universe. Halo is Microsoft’s Xbox 360-based game that has sold tens of millions of copies all over the world.
during their investigation they found three clues which lead to it. The first clue is, that Ensemble Studios members shift to Blizzard to work on Titan after the disbandment. The seconed refers to the former relationship between Ensemble Studios and Blizzard. And the last one is the rumor that titan will be a sci-fi MMORPG.
