With World of Warcraft's humongous and long-lasting success, have you ever wondered why Blizzard hasn't yet attempted to make an MMO out of their other craft-based franchise? Well, apparently a group of talented fans is beating them to the punch in this amazing-looking StarCraft II mod.
The video below shows off a pre-alpha phase of World of StarCraft, a WoW-inspired mod for StarCraft II. The game is clearly still very early, but it also doesn't look half-bad, with a UI that's reminiscent of an MMO and gameplay that's nothing like a real-time strategy game.
