keep jetstream visual effect forever

Get a friend to summon you and go into throne of the four winds (guessing vortex pinnacle would work also).

After jumping of accept the summon when it is available to be accepted, and you have the visual of the swirling animation around you, seems to not have the jet stream on you in your buffs at this time though.

Seems to work easier if u launch yourself sideways of a platform in throne of the four winds.

Animation will lasts untill you die.

Noclip through instances without hacks.

As any engineer knows by now, the failrate of our rocket boosts has been increased considerably since cata hit us.

And, as any goblin engineer knows by now, parachutes (of any kind, slowfalls and levitates) gets cancelled by the goblin Rocket Jump, while at the same time given a cooldown.

This means that Rocket Jump can't be used together with a slow fall of any kind.

What we'll do to make an exploit out of this is that we use our rocket boosts (the engineering belt enchant for those who do not know) until we get a fail, shouldn't take more than a few tries nowadays. That will launch us high in the air, noclippng through the roof on the way up and down. Normally when falling, this will give you a parachute. What we do is that we use our Rocket Jump while we're as high up as we can be. We will be launched forwards, and the parachute from the boosts fail will open up, and we will glide through all walls.

When the parachute from the fail ends, the cooldown on your normal 'chute that the boosts started will have ended and you can keep gliding.

TL;DR: Use rocket boosts until fail, use goblin rocket jump at highest point. Glide through walls.

Now, this is ofc very useful for any kind of exploration, but is also very relevant as an exploit. It can be used to bypass bosses that you can not kill.

I myself glided from halfus room to cho'gall, even though valiona and council were still alive.
You could also probaly use it to bypass most bosses in AQ40.

You could also probably use it to bypass the nonsoloable bosses in BWL to get to either the latter bosses or just the elementium mobs, that still fetch a really good price on the auction house.

You could also probably use it to make 30 second baron mount runs.

I assume there are plenty other uses for this that I haven't throught of yet, feel free to test and report back if you can think of anything else.

Alchemists money making trick

You can make money by buying truegold CD's from alchemists and then reselling them in trade if they don't proc. You lose the initial 100g but then gain it back by pretending you're an alchemist and "creating" (trading) the truegold to another buyer. Repeat until you finally get a proc from an alchemist for a free truegold.

This is entirely about Truegold and it's cooldown.

The following prices come directly from my server, which has an average economy.

Truegold reagents:

3 Pyrium Bar = 60g, 20g each

10 Volatile Air = 240g, 24g each

10 Volatile Fire = 190g, 19g each

10 Volatile Water = 170g, 17g each.

Total cost: 660g (average)

Now, find an Alchemist with Transmutation Mastery. Have them xmute the truegold, tip 100g.

No proc? Advertise in /trade: "Selling truegold cd 100g" (or more, for that matter) All you have to do is get traded the reagents for the truegold, and then trade back the original truegold and receive your tip.

Search once again for another transmutation master, buy the cd...

No proc? Repeat.

Proc? Profit!

Nothing big, just a nice concept I've been using.

Elders waypoints to your map using TomTom (Cataclysm)

Waypoints for Elders event NPC's to your map, so you dont have to alt/tab all the time, what supports TomTom, what you can get here TomTom : WoWInterface Downloads : Map Mods, coords/compasses

You can delete the waypoints by using:

You will need to put these to macro (by putting this to chat it just creates mess) and as you notice the lines between them, macro is limited to 255 characters to you will need to make several macros (or just copy/paste to previous macro)

Quickest gold you have ever made with a gather profession. (Herb/mine required)

(Note; this is my daily route.. and it has yielded about 700-1200g per 15 mins assuming you have no competition)

For the guide you should have the following (asterisks = optional but helps):

  • Fishing (level 1 will suffice)
  • Herbalism (I'm going to be lazy and say 525, but I think 500 would work aswell)
  • Mining (Also higher level..)
  • Guild Hearth cool-down reducing perk (to 15 mins)
  • Epic flying mount/Master flying
  • Find fish ability (Easily farmed in wetlands in 20 minutes, assuming you can find the schooner nodes. Just wowhead "Watertight Trunk" and follow the spawn locations, as 8% of them will be schooner wreckage nodes)

What you are farming (Green = most common, Yellow = less common):

  1. Volatile fires (20g each) From the "Pools of fire" (this is what you need fishing for)
  2. Elementium Ore (5g each)
  3. Pyrite Ore (10-20g each)
  4. Twilight Jasmine (10g each)
  5. Cinderbloom (4-6g each)
  6. Volatile Life (7-10g each) (Are obtained from the herbs, but you should know this...)

(NOTE: Prices are as of my server, results may differ.)

Info:

  • Fishing in a Pool of Fire with only get you Volatile Fire, no junk. So it is very effective and only requires level 1 fishing.
  • Pool of Fire spawn timer = 15 mins
  • Pools of Fire always spawn in the exact same location.
  • This route is roughly 1000% more profitable if done during 1-8am on a weekday. (which is the only time I do it)
  • If you are under 85, you may encounter opposing factions' 85's
  • On a 15 minute cooldown (hearthstone, with the guild perk bonus) you should be active 90% of the time gathering nodes. After I hit Hyjal I usually have to wait ~1-2 minutes on the hearth cool-down.

The Route:

  • Start with Twilight Highlands first, as there is a portal you can use to port back to Org..
  • Follow the yellow and make sure that you are on the right side of the river, you should see nodes 2, 3, 4, and 5. Once you reach the lava there should be 4 "Pool of Fire" nodes (again, assuming no one else is farming them) you should get anywhere from 3-12 Volatile Fire per "Pool of Fire" node.
  • Once done with the pools of fire, follow the other trail back to Dragonmaw Port (on this trail you should encounter nodes 2, 3, 4, and 5)
  • Port to Org and take the port to Hyjal, then follow this route....

(I usually have hit the 15 min respawn timer by this point so I fly directly to the "Pool of Fire" spawn points, avoiding any other nodes on the way.)

  • Fly to the spawn points and farm those nodes (again, Pool of Fire)
  • Hearth to Org and take the portal to Twilight Highlands, repeat the steps above.

ALSO: When selling volatile fires, put on the AH in stacks of 10-20 (I do 20) for 2-3g per OVER the lowest price! You will make maximum profit this way. (I.E. if the lowest on the AH is 20g per, list 20 for 22-23g per = 230g. People DO buy them, I guess 2-3g is the price they will pay to avoid hitting "Buy Out" 20 times.

Happy farming!

Increase Ground Mount Speed to up to 300%

You can increase your mounted speed bonus by 50%, giving you 275% speed with any 10% increase (including guild bonus) or 300% with 20% (like Crusader Aura).
Important thing: Requires: Cataclysm, Sea Turtle and any Teleport (Meeting Stone, warlock port or mage portal each to a place where you can be mounted)

And this is what you do:

  1. Go to Vashjir and in the water
  2. Open your portal
  3. Mount your Sea Turtle
  4. Get the hell outta here
  5. Enjoy.

This does actually not always work, but I never tried this more than 5 times to get the boost.

Interesting facts:
This effect vanishes when entering arena or ratedbg and dying, but remains when remounting, zoning to any area that does not purge you and while be forced to slow dance with aliens. And (as you can see in the SS) works with any mount or flying mount (flying speed is not affected), even the turtle.

YOU CAN SWIM, UN-MOUNTED, AT EPIC LAND MOUNT SPEED. The effect does not go away when you enter a battleground (I did AV, no water, but the turtle was still fast-turtle). The effect stayed when I used my disconnect macro. It stayed when I logged out for an hour and then logged back in!! The only thing that made my new super-swim speed go away was death. I could swim crazy fast, anywhere.

The problem... it worked 10% of the time for me so far (I tried 20 times, worked twice). The exploiting community needs to figure out the qualifier, the 'thing' that will make this work consistently. We have some work to do! This could be epic... super-speed swimming whenever we want, lasting until death, and it won't go away until they hotfix it. All we have to do is figure out the consistent way to make this work every time...

Imagine the PvP, farming and questing in Vash'jir. Other uses as well I'm sure that I'm not thinking at the moment. Love it.

Unlimited Access to the Maelstrom!

Basically, at level 82 you gain the "The Maelstrom" quest. Accept it, and a Maelstrom Portal appears. Go in, talk to Thrall. Turn in quest, grab new quest. Jump on wyvern, enter Deepholme. Abandon quest; congratulations, you can now continue leveling quite normally, the portal to deepholme exists in Stormwind/Orgrimmar, and alongside it is the never-disappearing portal to the Maelstrom. (So long as you don't finish the quest of riding with Aggra. Just abandon it and forget about it. Continue leveling.)

Hope this is of help to those who really liked The Maelstrom, and want to continue seeing it!

Get more than one raid in Tol Barad

First off you need to get the que to get into Tol Barad (you or some other random person).

After that, you leave the Tol Barad raid, forming your own group with people already in Tol Barad, doing this allows the MAIN Tol Barad raid group to bring in others. (I actually did this earlier today, it was honestly by accident)

And Im currently doing it now

So in short:
Get in Que for Tol Barad, join the main group, have you and others in the main group form a raid outside of the group, others will be able to get into the main Tol Barad group, win Tol Barad with more people that is allowed!

To make this more organized make a global channel for everyone to join, once your in the main Tol Barad group assign 3-4 people to start a raidgroup. After thats done, have others (2-3 people to start out with) pm the others forming the raid, keep doing this til all the other raids are filled

WORLD OF STARCRAFT EXISTS! SORT OF!

With World of Warcraft's humongous and long-lasting success, have you ever wondered why Blizzard hasn't yet attempted to make an MMO out of their other craft-based franchise? Well, apparently a group of talented fans is beating them to the punch in this amazing-looking StarCraft II mod.
The video below shows off a pre-alpha phase of World of StarCraft, a WoW-inspired mod for StarCraft II. The game is clearly still very early, but it also doesn't look half-bad, with a UI that's reminiscent of an MMO and gameplay that's nothing like a real-time strategy game. Check it out for yourself and comment with your thoughts.

Embersilk Cloth Farming + 480k XP/hr

Schnottz's Landing on the far west side of Uldum (shown in the pic) has several mobs that are marked as hostile, but do not aggro and aren't very strong at all. At level 83 on my Shadow Priest I was getting 480k XP and several stacks of Embersilk Cloth per hour (with Northern Cloth Scavenging). This is the only character I have done testing on in this spot, and I have not done any quests up to Schnottz's Landing on this character either, so if there are any changes relating to quests, please let me know.

Here's the location:
