I sometimes do feel like the only person that really feels that the game has improved so much since release, but that could just be the fact that I'm not in Highschool & College anymore and actually have responsibilities which don't allow me to spend 4-5 nights a week raiding every instance every reset.
I gave up being an elitest back in BC when they removed the Vials of Eternity Attunement and I started seeing guilds recruit with:
3/4 TK 5/6 SSC 1/5 HJ 1/9 BT
