Personally, especially with Ghostcrawler revealing he considers gold making odd, I think it's a matter of when, not if they implement CRAH: http://xsinthis.net/2013/02/cross-realm-auction-houses/
I'm interested to see what everyone has to say on this topic. Specifically, what do you think could be done to actually make such a system work? Do you think Blizzard could pull this off without completely wrecking what precarious economies we currently nurture in game?
