How it felt walking into Stormwind for the first time

Blizzard is the undisputed master of overwhelming you with awe the first time you do anything in a game. Like many, I started with a Night Elf and decided to make the walk from Darnassus to Iron Forge. As long and tedious as the whole journey was, and after a great many deaths, I was still blown away when entering every new zone. I really miss that feeling.

My first time going cross continent was no fun. Brought my dwarf from IF to meet friends in Darn. Didn't know there was two boats, so ended up running through barrens and ashenvale. I was not a smart kid.
