Ive been wondering how long we were going to plod around using flying mounts. When moving a large number of troops, ive always seen trains to be a perfect idea yet theyve never really enterd that into wow-lore. Tanks galore, but not a single thing raising steam. (Not sure on how many more discworld references i can add right now)
My deepest hope is that the train will be on a constant circuit like zeppelins and ships are. If they are people can stand on top and fire pot shots at people unfortunate enough to be near the track. Even better if you got your whole raid stacked on the train and every time it stopped you'd wipe out the opposing faction ready to board.
