I remember going to the midnight pickup at local GameStop by myself. I was in the back of the line and most of the people there were your typical nerds and I couldn't get social with anyone.
About an hour before, GameStop said that if you have a pre-order, come into the store to pay off the rest of your amount. As I was walking in I saw some people I knew from high school in the front of the line chilling on their truck. These guys were some mutual friends and your typical high school wrestler jocks. They saw me and called me over. Apparently they were huge WoW fans and were first in line waiting. I got to cut the line and ended up with new people to play WoW with :D
