Similar situation happened with me. Quite a while back I got a non-English-speaking tank with two other guildmates of mine during a ZA/ZG run. We got to the snake boss (I am terrible with remembering boss names) and everyone but me and that paladin died. I ran OOM, but kept somehow managing to keep him up with what few heals I could toss out between my Mana Tide and Water Shield and whatnot. Finally needled him down to death. Such an awesome feeling.
