World of Warcraft, the popular MMORPG developed by Blizzard Entertainment, is adding a new broom mount to the game for its in-game Halloween event, Hallow's End. This new mount, unlike its predecessor, can be used year-round, making it a significant addition to the game's collection of mounts.
The new mount, named Eve's Ghastly Rider, is a high-resolution flying broom that features new textures, a saddle, and a cosmetic lantern dangling from the front. Although the item currently has no Traders Tender cost associated with it, it is speculated that Eve's Ghastly Rider will likely be unlocked by completing all the monthly Traveler's Log activities for October.
World of Warcraft already has a broom mount, the Magic Broom, which players can earn during Hallow's End. However, this broom can only be used during the in-game event period and is automatically deleted once the Halloween event is over. In contrast, Eve's Ghastly Rider can be used year-round. During Hallow's End, it gains the same instant-cast buff as its lower-resolution counterpart.
The introduction of Eve's Ghastly Rider has been met with excitement from World of Warcraft fans. Players enjoyed using the Magic Broom mount during Halloween but wished they could use it outside the event period.
