World of Warcraft Hotfixes: October 5, 2023

Blizzard continues its commitment to enhancing the World of Warcraft (WoW) gaming experience with a series of hotfixes. Addressing various issues related to WoW: Dragonflight, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Burning Crusade Classic, and WoW Classic, these hotfixes ensure smoother gameplay and rectify known bugs.

Dragonriding Fixes

  • An issue with the Airborne Recovery dragonriding talent has been addressed. Previously, the talent caused Aerial Halt not to regenerate a Vigor when cast during Thrill of the Skies.

Item Corrections

  • The Everlasting Horn of Lavaswimming, which was not dropping as intended upon completing the Siege of Dragonbane Keep, has been fixed.
  • A bug preventing players from receiving the Warcraft Rumble toy reward has been rectified. Players who earned the toy but did not receive it can now click on the Warcraft Rumble Machine to obtain it.
  • The issue causing Warcraft Rumble Foils to go missing has been fixed. Players missing a Foil can now click on the Warcraft Rumble Machine to retrieve it.
  • Players can now interact with a summoned Warcraft Rumble Toy that has gained additional looks, allowing them to cycle through its earned appearances with a 5-second cooldown between changes.

Enemies and NPCs Adjustments

  • Several creatures on Mechagon Island have been scaled down to ensure they aren't lethal to lower-level players.
  • Bragdur Battlebrew now offers the Horde version of the "Brew of the Month" Club Membership Form as intended.
  • Lord Andestrasz, previously invisible to certain players in Waking Shores, has been located and made visible.

WoW Classic Updates

  • On Hardcore realms, mind control spells cannot be used during regular duels. However, this doesn't affect Mak’gora duels to the death.
  • An identifier has been added to show the player class and level when challenged to a duel to the death.
  • A bug causing the Joyous Journeys bonus to disappear unintentionally in Wrath Classic has been fixed.

Further Fixes

The hotfixes also address various other issues, including:

  • Adjustments to certain enemies and NPCs.
  • Fixes related to WoW Classic gameplay.
  • Corrections to certain class abilities and their interactions.
  • Modifications to events, ensuring they function as intended.
  • Rectifications to quests, ensuring smoother progression for players.

Blizzard's dedication to refining the WoW experience is evident in these hotfixes. By addressing known issues and enhancing gameplay mechanics, they ensure that players can immerse themselves in the rich world of Azeroth without disruptions.
