World of Warcraft players are about to get another reset-day unlock, and this one matters more than a routine Raid Finder wing. According to Blizzard’s official Midnight Raid Overview and Schedule, March on Quel’Danas opens with the March 31 regional weekly reset on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic, while Voidspire Raid Finder Wing 3 also unlocks at the same time. Blizzard notes that raid unlocks happen with each region’s weekly maintenance reset unless otherwise specified.

That gives tomorrow’s reset a pretty clean headline: this is the point where Midnight’s raid schedule expands from “early-season setup” into something that feels more complete. Blizzard’s original roadmap laid out a staggered structure, with Season 1 beginning the week of March 17, Voidspire Mythic and Dreamrift Mythic following on March 24, and March on Quel’Danas arriving on March 31 before its Raid Finder and Story Mode open on April 7.

What actually unlocks on March 31

The practical part is simple. At reset, players get:

  • March on Quel’Danas on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic
  • Voidspire Raid Finder Wing 3

Blizzard describes March on Quel’Danas as a 2-boss raid set in Quel’Thalas, where Champions of Azeroth march on the Sunwell alongside Arator the Redeemer. The raid’s bosses are listed as Belo’ren, Child of Al’ar and Midnight Falls, with Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and Story Mode difficulties ultimately planned for the raid. Blizzard also lists a Raid Finder minimum item level of 227.

Why this reset matters

This is the kind of reset article that works because it is useful. A lot of WoW players do not need another cinematic explainer or another vague “big things are coming” post. They need to know what opens next, when it opens, and whether it is worth rearranging their weekly plans around it.

And yes, this one probably is.

A new raid opening on three organized difficulties at once is a much bigger deal than a minor incremental unlock. It gives guilds, pugs, and progression-minded players one more fresh target immediately before Blizzard’s next scheduled step, when March on Quel’Danas Raid Finder and Story Mode go live on April 7.

Blizzard’s news flow is clearly pushing players toward launch-week momentum

Blizzard’s official WoW news page is also leaning hard into active Midnight momentum right now, with fresh posts around Midnight Early Access, content update notes, support-a-streamer rewards, and new returning/new player guides appearing at the top of the news feed. That does not directly change the raid unlock, but it does reinforce the bigger picture: Blizzard wants this stretch to feel busy, guided, and hard to ignore.

So if you were waiting for a cleaner excuse to log in at reset, Blizzard has handed you one. Tomorrow is not just another Tuesday. It is March on Quel’Danas day.
