If you bought the Springblossom Tree early and felt like you’d just paid “launch-week tax”… Blizzard agrees something was off.
Blizzard has confirmed the Springblossom Tree released with the wrong price, and they’ve now reduced it from 750 to 250 Hearthsteel. At the same time, the Spring Blossom Decor Pack has been adjusted so it now includes three trees per purchase.
Most importantly: Blizzard says they’re issuing refunds/credits and additional trees to players who bought during the short window where the pricing/pack contents were incorrect.
EU mirror/blue tracker reference:
What changed (the simple version)
✅ Springblossom Tree
Old price: 750 Hearthsteel
New price: 250 Hearthsteel
✅ Spring Blossom Decor Pack
Now includes 3x Springblossom Trees per purchase
✅ If you bought early
Blizzard says they’re issuing refunds/credits and granting extra trees to align early buyers with the corrected offer.
(Exact timing and delivery method is outlined in the blue post thread above.)
What you should do if you bought it early
Keep your purchase details handy (timestamp/receipt).
Check your Housing storage / inventory over the next day or two for any credited currency or added items.
If you don’t see anything after Blizzard’s stated window, use the official thread to track updates.
Why this matters (beyond one tree)
This is a trust moment for housing monetization. Fixing the price is good — but making early buyers whole is the part that stops this from turning into a bigger “don’t buy day-one shop items” story.
