Blizzard’s next World of Warcraft charity pet is almost here, and this year’s good boy is Roofus. Blizzard says the pack supports Habitat for Humanity, and Roofus will be available in both modern WoW and Classic WoW. Modern WoW players also get housing decor items with the pack.

That makes this more than a normal pet-shop drop. It is also one of Midnight’s first charity items built directly around the new housing system.

What comes with the Roofus pack

Blizzard’s official recap says the pack includes:

  • Roofus as the featured pet

  • a dog house

  • a bowl

  • a bed for modern WoW housing players.

Blizzard Watch reports the pack goes on sale on March 17, 2026, and says it will run through May 12, 2026. At the time of that report, Blizzard had not announced the price.

Why this is a good WoW story right now

There are three reasons this one works.

First, it ties directly into Midnight housing, which makes it feel much more connected to the current expansion than a standard charity pet.

Second, it supports Habitat for Humanity, giving it a stronger community angle than a normal store item. Blizzard says the partnership is meant to support affordable housing efforts globally.

Third, the timing is smart. March 17 is already a big WoW date because Midnight Season 1 begins then, so Roofus is landing right in the middle of a much larger content wave. That timing likely helps the pack get more visibility.

The simple takeaway

If you like charity pets, housing decor, or just want one lighter WoW story in between all the hotfixes and Season 1 prep, Roofus is one to watch on March 17.
