If you have been putting off the end of March on Quel’Danas because raid logistics sound exhausting, WoW has now made that excuse a lot weaker. Blizzard unlocked Raid Finder and Story Mode for the raid on April 7, which means the finale is now accessible to a much wider chunk of the playerbase, not just organized raid groups and the usual heroic overachievers.

And that matters because the epilogue is not just there to wrap up the Sunwell story with a bit of dramatic elf energy. It now gives players a very clean collector reward package: the Peridot Dragonhawk mount plus two housing items, Farstriders’ Pride Statue and Farstriders’ Glory Statue, from the final quest From Darkness, Light. For anyone who likes mounts, housing, or both, this is suddenly a lot more than “go watch the ending.”

Why this is suddenly worth your time

The big change is Story Mode. According to Blizzard, March on Quel’Danas Raid Finder and Story Mode went live with the April 7 regional reset, and Icy Veins notes that you can enter Story Mode by speaking to Tactical Telemancer Seralia, who stands by the summoning stone to the left of the raid entrance. That turns this from a “maybe later when the group finder gods stop being cruel” activity into a very manageable end-of-week errand.

That is also what makes this a genuinely good service story instead of just a lore footnote. WoW players will absolutely chase a mount. WoW housing players will absolutely chase decor. Put both at the end of a now-accessible story epilogue and, yes, Blizzard has more or less built a collector trap with nicer lighting.

It is also part of a bigger collector chain

This raid storyline was already handing out collector rewards before the epilogue unlocked. Earlier quest steps tied to The Battle of the Bridge and March on Quel’Danas rewarded the Emerald Hawkstrider mount, Emerald Hatchling pet, and the Lightcalled Hearthstone toy. The new epilogue rewards basically turn the whole thing into one long, very Blizzard-coded sentence that reads: “you were going to do this eventually anyway, so here, have more stuff.”

One little wrinkle Blizzard already cleaned up

There was a bit of early quest weirdness around March on Quel’Danas completion, but Blizzard’s April 7 hotfixes say players who have already completed the quest should no longer be offered it again on that character. So if the rollout felt slightly messy at first, Blizzard does at least seem to be tidying up the loose ends quickly.

Add this to the weekly pile, but this one is actually fun

If you already grabbed this week’s free Hero raid gear from the Midnight Dungeon weekly, or knocked out Predaxas for a fast world boss reward, this fits neatly into the same kind of “current content with real value” bucket. The difference is that this one also gives you something a lot more permanent than another upgrade-track item you may replace next reset. A dragonhawk and a pair of ranger statues tend to age better than shoulders.

So yes, this is one of those weeks where the smart play is also the collector-brain play. Story Mode is live, the epilogue is open, and Blizzard has parked a mount plus housing decor at the finish line. That is about as close to a polite hint as WoW ever gets.
