Play World of Warcraft via Android Mobile Phone

Depending on which Android based phone you have, it may alter how well you can play WoW.

On the Droid, I can essentially utilize it for checking up on friends via whispers, et cetera.

Required Materials:
  • A computer that can run World of Warcraft
  • An unlimited data plan on any Android phone. (The G1, Droid, ETC.)

On your phone, go to the Android market and download the PhoneMyPC application, their website (SoftwareForMe.com - PhoneMyPC) has a guide on setting it up to interface with your PC.

In short, PhoneMyPC is an application that allows for remote computer access from anywhere via your phone, therefore, if your computer can run warcraft, you can access it from your phone.

Once you are able to access your computer via your phone, you may start warcraft normally.
The controls of the program itself take some getting used to, but once you play with it a bit, and customize warcraft so it's playable from your phone, you should be able to chit-chat, check up on guildies, and autowalk your way to a mobile world of warcraft.

(I use W for my autowalk, for example.)

It's not seamless, it will be a bit laggy, depending on how you set the program's quality. For chatting, I tend to set the quality to medium and zoom in via using the "pinch" feature, similar to the iphone's.

Good luck!

whoa that's pretty nifty. You can do a lot more with it than just play wOW.
