Personally? find Northrend 20 times worse then Outlands. I generally quest in Borean Tundra 68-70 and then dungeon/BG grind to 80.

I am also really sick of the "You didn't earn it" mentality.
For mounts, there is no "earning it". It is all about luck. There are lots of things that I should have earned by now, but I have horrible luck. I'm looking at you warglaives.
