Character position is determined client side. It is a fairly common hack to allow flying or teleporting. You'll get banned for it if anyone reports it but these are more than likely all trial accounts. They fixed the floating for the most part if you see them now they go up in the air real high then plum it down and blizzard keeps fixing them as new bugs are found


It's all done by a program. It registers a lot of trial accounts, then creates random characters, gets them into a crowded place, and with a fly hack, it drops them to die, and make a text out of the corpses, or make formation in the air.
