Blizzard Entertainment has released a series of hotfixes for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Burning Crusade Classic, and WoW Classic. These hotfixes address a variety of issues related to classes, customizations, events, items, professions, and the world. Some of these hotfixes took effect immediately, while others required scheduled realm restarts.
Classes
For the Paladin class, a bug with Tirion's Devotion causing free Word of Glory casts to grant excessive cooldown reduction was fixed.
Customizations
A bug that could prevent players from being able to change the customization state of their Renewed Proto Drake was fixed.
Events
Several issues with the Iskaara Community Feast and Time Rifts were resolved. Vendors Hanu and Tikukk should now display their vendor windows to players on associated tasks, even if the players have bought all renown items from them. Visual errors with the Time Rifts skybox were also resolved.
Items
The Scourgestone acquisition can no longer be toggled off. Players who are in this state will resume receiving Scourgestones. This toggle was initially added to help alleviate inventory space by players who did not want to engage with the system. However, it was extremely easy to toggle this off without realizing it. Blizzard may reintroduce it at a later time.
Professions
For Alchemy, the Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage’s Overwhelming Rage damage will no longer pierce through immunities.
World
A bug that caused phasing issues in Dazar’alor was fixed.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic
An issue where certain spells were not removing the effects of Piercing Shots, Ignite, or Deep Wounds from a target was fixed.
These hotfixes reflect Blizzard's ongoing commitment to improving the player experience across all versions of World of Warcraft. The company continues to monitor player feedback and implement changes as necessary to ensure a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience.
