HOTFIXES as of May 7, 2024

Classes

Demon Hunter

  • Vengeance
    • Sigil of Silence duration now 4 seconds (previously 5 seconds).
    • Sigil of Silence cooldown increased to 90 seconds (previously 60 seconds).
    • Cycle of Binding reduces Sigil cooldowns by 2 seconds per trigger (previously 3 seconds).
    • Soul Cleave damage reduced by 8%.

Druid

  • Balance
    • Season 4 (2) Set Bonus now increases damage of next Wrath or Starfire by 50% (previously 30%).
    • Season 4 (2) Set Bonus also reduces the Astral Power cost of next Starsurge or Starfall by 30 (previously 15) and increases damage by 60% (previously 40%).

Monk

  • Brewmaster
    • Keg Smash and Spinning Crane Kick damage reduced by 10%.
    • Summon White Tiger Statue damage reduced by 30%.
    • Stagger effectiveness against magical attacks increased to 55% (previously 45%).
    • Healing Sphere healing increased by 10%.

Rogue

  • Assassination
    • Ability and auto-attack damage increased by 6% (does not affect PvP combat).
    • Fixed an issue causing Season 3/4 bonus to do less damage than intended.

Warlock

  • Affliction
    • Doom Blossom, Vile Taint, Soul Flame, and Soul Rot damage increased by 10%, 25%, 20%, and 5%, respectively.
  • Destruction
    • Chaos Bolt, Conflagrate, and Incinerate damage increased by 3%, 5%, and 5%, respectively.

Warrior

  • Fury
    • All ability damage increased by 3%.
    • Season 4 Set Bonus (2) & (4): Rampage damage and critical strike chance, and Bloodthirst bonus damage per stack enhanced.
  • Protection
    • All ability damage increased by 5%, Devastator damage by 30%, and Ignore Pain healing by 6%.
    • Various adjustments to talent efficiency and flexibility.

Items

  • Tome of Unstable Power
    • AOE target cap set to 8.

Player vs. Player (PvP) Adjustments

  • Detailed PvP adjustments include significant damage changes for classes like Death Knight, Druid, Evoker, Hunter, Monk, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior, reflecting a strategic rebalancing specifically for PvP combat scenarios.

Cataclysm Classic

  • Legendary appearances now eligible for Transmogrification collection.
  • Several gameplay fixes improving interaction with quest items and NPCs.
  • Class-specific adjustments to ensure abilities function as intended.

General Player vs. Player Fixes

  • Resilience mitigation bug fixed.
  • Corrected thresholds for crowd control effect disruptions due to damage.
