Midnight is still in “launch week cleanup mode,” and Blizzard’s March 5, 2026 hotfix batch is a very classic kind of patch: a handful of high-impact class fixes, a couple of dungeon pain points, one big quality-of-life event change, and a long list of “this quest/UI shouldn’t be weird anymore” fixes.

Here’s the reader-friendly TL;DR — the changes most players will actually feel.

The 9 changes that matter most

1) Legends of the Haranir is now account-wide weekly (starting March 10 reset)

This is the big one. You can now do the event once per week per account (not per character). That’s a huge shift if you were planning to spam it on alts.

2) Den of Nalorakk: Primal Echo duration cut in half

The Primal Echo debuff is reduced from 30s to 15s, and Blizzard also addressed an issue where Nalorakk could get stuck in combat after a wipe situation. Less “why is this bricked?” energy.

3) Voidscar Arena: Explosive Spheres damage behavior fixed

Explosive Spheres now only damage players inside the area trigger upon contact. This is the kind of tuning that can turn a frustrating mechanic into a fair one.

Class fixes you should actually re-test

4) Balance Druid: instant Starfire no longer eats Owlkin Frenzy

If you’re using Ascendant Eclipses (Rank 1) for instant Starfires, it should no longer consume Owlkin Frenzy when active.

5) Feral Druid: Moonfire buff/cooldown tracking fixed

The Cooldown Manager should now correctly show the Moonfire buff/bar if you have Lunar Inspiration.

6) Devastation Evoker: Dragonrage + Essence Burst interaction corrected

With Flameshaper, Dragonrage now properly interacts with Essence Well, making Fire Breath’s Essence Burst chance 100% during Dragonrage.

7) Dev Evoker: Mass Disintegrate should hit multi-target more reliably

If it felt inconsistent in packs, this is Blizzard trying to stabilize the behavior.

8) Windwalker Monk: Zenith now properly reduces Blackout Kick cooldown

Straight bug fix, but it affects real rotation value.

9) Outlaw Rogue: Between the Eyes combo point weirdness fixed

Specifically: a bug involving Supercharger + Gravedigger Rank 1 interactions consuming more than intended.

(Also: Shaman got fixes for Master of the Elements on Elemental and Voltaic Blaze interactions on Enhancement/Totemic.)

Smaller but nice: items, professions, quests, UI

  • Skilled Preyseeker’s Knapsack can now be deleted (inventory sanity restored).

  • Enchanting: Flames of the Sin’dorei now does its intended damage (tooltip fix later).

  • Several quest blockers/annoyances fixed, including Boralus portal directions and “Flicker in the Dark” completion edge cases.

  • UI: Adventure Journal no longer shows an entry for a Delves quest when you aren’t eligible.

What to do after you log in (60-second checklist)

  • If you run Den of Nalorakk / Voidscar Arena: do one run and see if the mechanics feel less punishing/weird.

  • If you’re planning your weeklies: note Legends of the Haranir = account-wide weekly starting March 10 reset.

  • If you play Boomkin / Dev Evoker / WW Monk / Outlaw Rogue: hit a target dummy for 2 minutes and confirm your build behaves like it should.
