Blizzard has confirmed it: Midnight Season 1 begins March 17, 2026. And yes, it’s a big one — three raids, Mythic+ going live, new world bosses, a PvP season, and seasonal Delves rewards all rolling in as the “real” endgame starts.

If you’re still in launch-week mode (questing, tinkering, getting your UI back under control), here’s the clean breakdown of what matters — without turning this into a 2,000-line patch note.

WoW Midnight Progression Guide: Renown, Endgame, and What to Do First

The headline: Three raids, staggered across Season 1

Season 1 includes three raid experiences, each with its own entrance/location:

  • The Voidspire (Voidstorm)

  • The Dreamrift (Harandar)

  • March on Quel’Danas (Eversong Woods)

Blizzard has also published a separate raid overview + schedule post that frames how these releases are paced during the season.

(Translation: you’re not just getting one big raid and calling it a year.)

Mythic+ and the “real” weekly loop begins

When Season 1 hits, the endgame routine becomes much more structured:

  • Mythic+ season begins

  • PvP season begins

  • Delves get seasonal rewards (think mounts/titles/etc.)

So if you’re the type who likes to plan, March 17 is the date you’re really aiming at.

World bosses start rotating weekly in Season 1

Season 1 brings four new world bosses that rotate weekly once the season begins (including names like Lu’ashal and Thorm’belan).

Even if you don’t live for world bosses, they’re the kind of “easy weekly value” you don’t want to forget.

What you should do before March 17 (the no-stress prep list)

Here’s the prep that actually pays off, without turning WoW into a second job:

1) Finish the campaign beats you still have open

Launch-week “why can’t I access X?” problems are usually story/system gates.

2) Set your baseline gear and spec confidence

You don’t need perfection — you need “I can do keys without feeling like a paper bag.”

3) Know what changes at reset

Blizzard’s own notes point out that Mythic 0 dungeons are on a weekly lockout during preseason, then shift once Season 1 begins.

So: don’t panic if something feels time-gated right now. It’s supposed to.
