If you were planning to run Legends of the Haranir on every alt like it was a launch-week side hustle… Blizzard just changed the rules.
In the March 5, 2026 hotfixes, Blizzard confirmed that Legends of the Haranir now has an account-wide weekly lockout, starting with the weekly reset on March 10. That means: one completion per week per account (not per character).
WoW Midnight Progression Guide: Renown, Endgame, and What to Do First
What changed (and when)?
-
Change: Account-wide weekly lockout for Legends of the Haranir
-
Goes live: With weekly reset on March 10, 2026
-
Result: Do it once per week per account, then you’re done until next reset.
What this means in practice
If you’re an alt enjoyer
This is a straight nerf to “run it on 6 characters” efficiency. Your weekly planning now looks more like:
-
Pick the character that benefits most (Renown/rewards/whatever you’re chasing)
-
Do the event once
-
Move on to other weekly value
If you’re a “one main” player
Honestly? Not much changes — you were probably already doing it once. The big upside is less FOMO pressure to repeat it across your roster.
For Warband progression vibes
Blizzard is clearly nudging Midnight’s weekly structure toward account-wide pacing, which fits the whole “weekly loop, not infinite grind” philosophy.
What you should do this week (before March 10 reset)
-
If you still want multi-character value, this is basically your last week to do it the old way (if you haven’t already).
-
Otherwise: choose your “best” character for the event going forward and treat it like a weekly you tick off early.
