Midnight’s new housing shop just had a very Blizzard-launch-week moment.
The Spring Blossom Decor Pack (and the Spring Blossom Tree decor item) was removed from the in-game store and Battle.net shop shortly after release, which instantly triggered the obvious questions: Was it bugged? Was it pulled for pricing changes? And what about people who already bought it?
According to player reports on Blizzard’s forums, the pack disappeared, then reappeared later — and now the discussion has shifted from “where did it go?” to “will early buyers be compensated?”
What we know (so far)
1) The pack was removed “just hours after release”
Wowhead flagged that Blizzard pulled the Spring Blossom Decor Pack and the Spring Blossom Tree from the shop shortly after it went live.
2) Blizzard forum users reported it was gone… then back
A Blizzard Customer Support thread shows players asking why it vanished, with replies saying it was removed and later stating “It is back.”
3) Early buyers are asking for missing items / value changes
In a separate General Discussion thread, players note the pack appeared to change (item count/contents) and want to know if Blizzard will credit the additional items to people who bought it earlier.
4) EU players are also reporting Hearthsteel/value issues
On the EU forums, players describe situations like buying the pack early and then seeing tree quantity/price changes, asking Blizzard to make it right for those who bought during the brief “worse value” window.
Why this became a bigger deal than “one missing shop item”
This isn’t just about a pack vanishing. It touches three pain points at once:
-
Store trust: if a pack disappears and reappears quickly, players assume something was wrong (pricing, delivery, bugs).
-
Fairness: early buyers don’t want to feel punished for buying fast if the pack gets improved later.
-
Housing pricing debate: the wider discussion about housing decor being too expensive was already running hot, and this poured gasoline on it.
What you should do if you bought it (quick checklist)
-
Check your housing storage/mailbox for missing items (some players report delays).
-
If you bought during the “early window,” keep your purchase timestamp/receipt handy in case Blizzard issues credits/adjustments.
-
Watch the official forums for resolution posts, because that’s where most of the tracking is happening right now.
