World of Warcraft has officially launched its next expansion.

After early access ended on March 2, World of Warcraft: Midnight is now live worldwide for all players following today’s weekly reset.

The Worldsoul Saga continues with a return to Quel’Thalas, where a Void invasion led by Xal’atath threatens Silvermoon and beyond.

Here’s what is now live in Midnight.

Level Cap Raised to 90

Midnight increases the level cap to 90.

Players begin in a fully revamped Silvermoon City, now functioning as a shared hub for both Horde and Alliance. From there, the campaign moves through:

  • Eversong Woods (revamped)

  • Zul’Aman

  • Harandar jungle

  • Voidstorm hellscape

After the opening arc, players can choose branching story paths, giving the leveling experience more flexibility than recent expansions.

New Allied Race: Haranir

The Haranir are now playable for both factions.

Available classes include:

  • Druid

  • Hunter

  • Mage

  • Monk

  • Priest

  • Rogue

  • Shaman

  • Warlock

  • Warrior

Unlocking them requires completing the Silvermoon introduction and the Harandar campaign.

Their bioluminescent customization options are already drawing attention, though some players have reported minor gear clipping issues.

Class Overhauls and Apex Talents

All classes received significant updates going into Midnight.

Highlights include:

  • New rotational identities

  • Apex talents unlocked at level 81

  • Major spec adjustments

  • Demon Hunter gains a new Void-themed Devourer spec

  • Void Elf Demon Hunters unlocked through pre-patch quests

This expansion places heavy emphasis on class identity and build flexibility.

Player Housing Is Here

For the first time in World of Warcraft history, player housing is now live.

Players can:

  • Build and decorate homes

  • Join shared Neighborhoods

  • Complete Endeavors

  • Customize interiors and layouts

Housing access is available to expansion owners, with early participation already generating significant community discussion.

Dungeons, Delves and New Systems

Midnight launches with:

  • 8 new dungeons

  • 10 new Delves

  • A seasonal Nemesis Delve featuring Valeera Sanguinar

  • New 40v40 battleground: Slayer’s Rise

  • Prey hunts with multiple difficulty tiers

  • PvP Training Grounds

  • Arcantina tavern hub activities

  • Outfit set transmog updates

Mythic 0 preseason unlocks after reset today, with weekly lockouts active until March 17.

Season 1 officially begins March 17 with raid and Mythic+ access.

Launch Stability

The global rollout has been relatively smooth.

Some early crashes and disconnects were reported at launch, but realms are currently stable and highly populated. No major hotfixes have been reported in the last 24 hours.

Midnight Has Officially Begun

With level 90 progression, new zones, housing, and class updates all live, Midnight marks one of the most system-heavy launches in recent years.

Whether you're here for story, endgame, PvP, or housing, the next chapter of World of Warcraft is fully underway.

More detailed guides and breakdowns are coming shortly.
