BlizzCon 2026 is still several weeks away, but Blizzard has already opened the digital gift shop.
World of Warcraft players can now spend $29.99 on a BlizzCon bundle containing a flying Void rabbit mount, a Phoenix-themed transmog ensemble and an animated Housing decoration.
The livestream itself will be free.
The rabbit, naturally, has a price tag.
The WoW BlizzCon Bundle Costs $29.99
The World of Warcraft BlizzCon Bundle contains three digital items:
Rabbit’ath flying mount
Ensemble: Garb of the Dawnfire Phoenix
Perch of the Dawnfire Phoenix Housing decor
The bundle is available through the Battle.net Shop for $29.99 and will remain available until September 28, 2026.
Each Battle.net account can purchase one individual WoW bundle, and the included items are not available in World of Warcraft Classic.
This is not a subscription bonus, Trading Post reward or in-game event prize.
It is a straightforward cosmetic bundle built around BlizzCon branding.
Rabbit’ath Is a Flying Void Rabbit
The obvious headline item is Rabbit’ath.
It is a flying rabbit mount infused with the Void, because ordinary rabbits apparently lacked sufficient apocalyptic energy.
Blizzard’s flavour text says its presence brings doom and despair and that players can glimpse the end of all things in its eyes.
So, essentially, it is a rabbit that has read the entire Patch 12.1 feedback forum.
The mount is visually strong enough to carry the bundle by itself.
It combines the familiar appeal of a cute animal mount with enough purple cosmic corruption to make it fit naturally into modern Warcraft.
Whether that is worth $29.99 depends heavily on how much value a player places on the two Phoenix items bundled beside it.
The Phoenix Transmog Is Smaller Than a Full Armor Set
The Garb of the Dawnfire Phoenix is not a complete head-to-toe armor set.
It focuses on the upper body and includes a Phoenix helmet, shoulder pieces and several cloak or wing options.

Mantle of the Dawnfire Phoenix
Cloaked Wings of the Dawnfire Phoenix
The design gives players enough material to build a Phoenix-themed appearance without locking the whole outfit into one rigid ensemble.
That can be an advantage for players who enjoy combining promotional cosmetics with ordinary armor.
It also means anyone expecting a full BlizzCon armor set may find the word “ensemble” doing some ambitious marketing work.
The Housing Decor Shows a Phoenix Growing Up
The third reward is the Perch of the Dawnfire Phoenix.
This Housing decoration displays a Phoenix progressing from a hatchling into its full majestic form.
That makes it more elaborate than a static chair, trophy or decorative plant.
It is also another sign that Housing has become part of Blizzard’s premium cosmetic strategy almost immediately after arriving in World of Warcraft.
Mounts and pets have been sold for years.
Housing now gives Blizzard an entirely new category of objects that can be placed inside paid bundles, promotional campaigns and special editions.
Players were always going to spend money decorating their homes.
Blizzard has wisely decided not to waste time pretending otherwise.
The $50 Ultimate Collection Adds Murk’atath
Players who want more than the WoW-specific bundle can purchase the BlizzCon Ultimate Collection for $50.
That collection includes all five digital bundles covering World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo IV, Diablo Immortal and Hearthstone.
It also contains extra rewards that are not included in the individual bundles.
For WoW players, the additional reward is Murk’atath, a Void-corrupted murloc pet.
The Ultimate Collection therefore costs $20 more than the standalone WoW bundle and adds the remaining Blizzard-game cosmetics alongside the extra pet.
That may be attractive to players who actively play several Blizzard titles.
For someone who only plays WoW, it effectively asks whether Murk’atath and a large pile of cosmetics for other games are worth another $20.
Murlocs have caused worse financial decisions.
BlizzCon Pass Holders Get the Ultimate Collection
Players attending BlizzCon 2026 do not need to purchase the digital collection separately.
The Ultimate Collection is included with a BlizzCon pass, although attendees must link the pass to their Battle.net account to claim the items.
That makes the cosmetics part of the physical event package rather than an additional charge for ticket holders.
BlizzCon 2026 takes place on September 12 and 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Everyone else can watch the livestream for free.
This separates access to the announcements from access to the digital souvenirs.
That is better than putting the broadcast itself behind a paid Virtual Ticket, but it also makes the bundle feel less like admission and more like a themed store purchase.
This Is Not Really a Virtual Ticket
Previous BlizzCon digital packages were often connected to a Virtual Ticket that provided access to panels, broadcasts and event coverage.
Blizzard is making the 2026 livestream free for everyone.
The new bundle therefore sells only in-game items.
That is a cleaner arrangement.
Players who only care about announcements can watch without paying. Players who want the cosmetics can buy them directly without pretending they purchased event access.
It also exposes the actual transaction more clearly.
The $29.99 is not paying for coverage, production or exclusive panel access.
It is paying for a rabbit, several Phoenix wardrobe pieces and something decorative for the house.
At least everyone knows what is being sold.
Housing Has Joined the Premium Cosmetic Machine
The Perch of the Dawnfire Phoenix may be the most strategically important item in the bundle.
WoW’s premium store has traditionally relied on mounts, pets and occasional transmog.
Housing expands the catalogue dramatically.
Blizzard can now sell furniture, animated displays, architectural pieces, garden objects, room themes and elaborate decorations without affecting player power.
That gives the company a nearly endless stream of potential cosmetics.
It also creates a new concern for players who hoped the best Housing items would primarily come from gameplay.
One paid Phoenix perch is not a crisis.
If promotional bundles repeatedly receive the most elaborate animated decorations while in-game vendors offer another wooden stool, the balance will become harder to defend.
The Bundle Has Value, but Only if You Want All Three Items
At $29.99, the WoW bundle is cheaper than buying several typical premium cosmetics separately.
A store mount alone has often occupied a similar price range.
Adding transmog and animated Housing decor makes the package look reasonable beside Blizzard’s existing store pricing.
That does not automatically make it inexpensive.
Players cannot purchase Rabbit’ath separately. Someone who only wants the mount must buy the complete bundle.
The same applies to Housing players who only want the Phoenix perch.
Bundles create value by combining products.
They also create waste by making customers buy things they would not have selected individually.
The question is therefore not whether the three items are worth $29.99 together.
It is whether each player actually wants enough of them to justify the package.
BlizzCon Is Free to Watch, but the Souvenirs Are Not
Blizzard’s 2026 approach is easy to understand.
Make the livestream accessible to everyone. Sell optional digital cosmetics to collectors. Include the largest collection with physical event passes.
Nothing in the bundle affects raid performance, Mythic+ rating or competitive PvP.
No one needs Rabbit’ath to play the game.
That does not place the offer beyond criticism.
WoW already charges for expansions, subscriptions, services, tokens and a growing premium cosmetic catalogue.
Players are allowed to notice when another attractive mount and one of Housing’s flashier decorations appear behind an additional payment.
BlizzCon 2026 is free to watch.
The Void rabbit has simply chosen a more exclusive viewing platform.
