Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ is starting to look suspiciously comfortable.

New Raider.IO data from the fourth full week of the season shows that 91.09% of recorded Mythic+ keys were completed within the timer. That is up another 0.63 percentage points from the previous week and continues a trend we have been watching since Season 2 began: fewer players may be running keys overall, but the groups still inside the system are succeeding at an unusually high rate.

The figures, compiled by Nightstalker314 and highlighted in Icy Veins' latest Season 2 Mythic+ breakdown, also show that 81.03% of all completed runs happened at +10 or higher.

Apparently +10 really is becoming the ground floor.

91.09% of Keys Are Being Timed

The success rate is particularly interesting because this was a Tyrannical week. Historically, early Tyrannical weeks have tended to punish groups rather efficiently once boss health and damage begin scaling into uncomfortable territory.

Instead, success improved.

Keys at levels +7 and +8 gained more than two percentage points, while most difficulties up through +12 also improved. Higher keys from +13 through +19 became slightly less successful, which is considerably more normal once players begin pushing beyond comfortable gearing levels.

This builds directly on the pattern we saw when Season 2 produced its easiest opening Mythic+ Vault week yet. At the time, 54.75% of completed keys were already +10 or higher. By Week 2, our look at the 25% activity decline showed that figure had climbed to 77.78%.

Now it is above 81%.

Murder Row Remains the Friendliest Dungeon

Murder Row continues to lead the dungeon pool with a remarkable 93.61% success rate. King's Rest follows at 92.86%, while Temple of Sethraliss sits at 92.23%.

Even the bottom of the table is hardly disastrous. The Blinding Vale currently sits lowest at 89.09%, meaning the difference between the easiest and hardest dungeon is only 4.52 percentage points.

That is a much tighter spread than we saw earlier in the season, when individual dungeon tuning was still creating obvious problem children. Blizzard's enormous pre-launch Season 2 dungeon rework now looks increasingly important. Murder Row lost mandatory enemy forces, bosses were toned down and several awkward mechanics were adjusted before players even started pushing seriously.

Players have also become much better at exploiting the hidden profession and class-specific dungeon buffs scattered throughout the Season 2 pool. Free Haste, Versatility and extra damage tend to make timers slightly less frightening once everybody remembers they exist.

Players Are Already Timing +22 Keys

The top end is moving quickly too. The first +22 keys were timed on Chinese realms during Week 4, and by Week 5 +22s had been completed in all three major regions.

That does not mean ordinary groups should immediately throw away their +10 and announce that anything below +20 is now tourist difficulty. The number of successful runs falls sharply at the extreme end, and gear continues to become a limiting factor.

But the broader picture is difficult to ignore.

Midnight Season 2 is currently producing very high completion rates, an enormous concentration of players at +10 and above, and high-end progression that is moving rapidly into the twenties.

Mythic+ is still capable of murdering a perfectly respectable evening.

It is simply failing to do so about 91% of the time.
