I discovered this while farming the baron and making the gates dissapear. The ability that rogues have to disarm traps has a max range of 20 yds according to the tooltip. Thing is when you are close to a trap you can move away from it(well past 20 yards) and still disarm it. I am not really sure how this can be used for the powers of good but it could help somewhere with something. Also getting rid of the trapped boxes does not just remove the gates and doors to the slaughterhouse in strat. They will pretty much remove any gate you can see if it is close enough and opens in some way.
