That makes the system considerably friendlier than it initially appears. Endeavors were introduced as neighborhood-wide monthly activities where residents contribute toward shared progression and unlock themed vendors, something we discussed when players began asking Blizzard for a Trading Post-style Housing Endeavor roadmap. Your neighborhood still determines which Endeavor your community is actively progressing, but it does not necessarily imprison you with that particular furniture catalogue.
Four Patch 12.1 Housing Endeavors Are in the Rotation
Patch 12.1 added four themed Endeavors:
- Amani Trolls — Knock-off Amani
- Ohn’ahran Centaurs — Every Bakar Has Its Day
- Kobolds — Candle Culture
- Tortollans — Vacation Season
The Amani Endeavor already appeared during the previous month, while the new rotation is giving more neighborhoods access to the Centaur, Kobold and Tortollan collections. Each has its own vendor and its own style of Housing decor, and there is considerably more here than four novelty chairs.
Amani collectors can buy items ranging from Forest Troll fences and rugs to an Amani Water Well and shrines dedicated to Halazzi, Akil’zon, Nalorakk and Jan’alai. The higher-rank Loa shrines cost 30 Community Coupons each, making this particularly dangerous for anyone building a Zul’Aman-inspired plot. Considering Patch 12.1 already gave us larger Housing exteriors and substantially more placement space, there is now plenty of room to construct an entire troll temple and subsequently wonder where all your Coupons went.
Every Bakar Has Its Day Is Basically Housing for Dog People
The Ohn’ahran Centaur Endeavor takes a different approach. Every Bakar Has Its Day includes 15 Housing rewards sold by Roshai Lightstep, with much of the collection built around Maruukai furniture and, naturally, Bakars.
You can pick up Bakar’s Dinner, Bakar’s Favorite Ball, Bakar’s Napping Rug and Bakar’s Snack alongside Maruukai tables, baskets, barricades and a chef’s stove. There is even a Pet Food and Water Tray. Housing was always going to reach the stage where Azeroth’s heroes returned from killing an ancient god because the dog needed a nicer bowl.
That fits neatly with Blizzard’s wider plan to make homes feel less static. We have already covered Blizzard’s plans for expanded pet interactions and more living Housing spaces, and the Centaur collection looks tailor-made for players leaning heavily into that side of the system.
Kobolds Have Brought an Unreasonable Number of Candles
The Kobold Endeavor is called Candle Culture, and Blizzard has demonstrated admirable thematic discipline by filling it with candles.
Timicky’s vendor includes the Bold Kobold Kabin, Candle Cage, Warrens Candlecooker, several different Warrens Candles, Longwick Ropes, Hot Kobold Treasure and the wonderfully named Kobold Dig-Thing and Kobold Sit-Thing. Prices range from around 10 Community Coupons for smaller pieces to 30 for the larger signature decorations.
The timing is especially appropriate now that WoW Housing supports exterior lighting. Blizzard spent months carefully implementing sensible lighting limitations to protect performance. Kobolds have responded by arriving with an industrial quantity of wax.
The Tortollans Have Apparently Been on Vacation
The fourth Endeavor, Vacation Season, comes from the Tortollans and offers a collection of travel and sea-themed decorations through Taifa. Rewards include Sea Glass Baubles, Sea Glass Lamp Posts, Tortollan display racks, the Tortollan Tarp Tent, Traveler’s Chest, Half-Shell Hot Pot and various Memories of the Sea.
It is the sort of collection that works especially well for outdoor camps, coastal builds or homes that have reached the stage where every room needs its own aggressively specific backstory. That collection pressure is only getting stronger. Housing decor has already become WoW’s newest collectible rabbit hole, while Patch 12.1 added another 18 Artisanal Room Plans for Community Coupons.

You Can Visit Another Neighborhood to Use Its Endeavor Vendor
Here is the useful part. If the Endeavor you want is not active where you live, find a player whose neighborhood has it and visit their house. According to current live Housing testing, you can right-click someone in your Friends List or party and select View Houses. If they have an accessible house, you can teleport to their neighborhood and browse the active Endeavor vendor there.
This is not entirely unprecedented. Earlier this week we discovered that Cursed Keepsake rewards can also be manipulated by visiting different neighborhoods, because the weekly decor reward is tied to the neighborhood rather than directly to your character. Together, the two systems make neighborhood tourism surprisingly valuable for serious collectors.
The difference is important: with Cursed Keepsake, you are hopping neighborhoods to change a weekly quest reward. With Endeavors, you are looking for a neighborhood where the specific themed vendor is active.
Community Coupons Are Becoming Housing’s Real Progression Currency
Most Endeavor decor is purchased with Community Coupons, and Patch 12.1 is rapidly giving players more ways to spend them than anyone reasonably expected at Housing launch. That is exactly the progression loop we predicted when we first broke down how WoW Housing and neighborhood activities work: decorate, participate, earn Housing currency, unlock more things to decorate with, repeat until the spare bedroom contains seventeen troll shrines.
Blueprints make the collection even more useful because Patch 12.1 lets players save and share increasingly elaborate Housing layouts. The downside is that the patch also arrived with the expected collection of Blueprint, decor and neighborhood bugs, because no World of Warcraft system is truly established until one staircase has refused to cooperate.
Your Neighborhood Is a Home, Not a Prison
So if your local Endeavor is full of candles but what you really want is a Tortollan tent, do not assume you need to wait for another monthly rotation.
Find another neighborhood.
Visit a house.
Check the Endeavor vendor.
Spend the Coupons.
Return home with somebody else’s furniture.
