Now Blizzard is preparing to add another wonderfully ridiculous machine to the collection. And this time, players will not have to spend their Trader's Tender to obtain it.
In its October 30 WoW Weekly announcement, Blizzard officially confirmed that November's Trading Post will feature a Sweet Tooth theme, with the Hot Motocross Bunmover 4600 serving as the month's Traveler's Log completion reward.
For collectors who have followed the mount's development, that last detail is particularly interesting. Because Blizzard has just clarified something that earlier datamining suggested would work rather differently.
The Bunmover 4600 Is a Monthly Reward, Not a Tender Purchase
We first encountered the Bunmover family in September, when Patch 12.1.5 datamining revealed four motorcycle variants, numbered 4000, 4200, 4400, and 4600.
At the time, their exact availability remained uncertain. A subsequent batch of PTR data even assigned a provisional 500 Trader's Tender price to the Bunmover 4600, alongside other upcoming Trading Post rewards.
Blizzard's latest announcement settles the matter for November's featured motorcycle. Rather than purchasing the 4600 variant from a vendor, players will earn it by completing enough activities to fill their monthly Traveler's Log.
That is excellent news for mount collectors. The Trading Post already provides opportunities to earn Tender through monthly activities, but its completion reward is separate from the items purchased with that currency. Players can therefore collect the Bunmover while keeping their Tender available for other cosmetics.
The motorcycle itself is a monument to Azeroth's increasingly eccentric engineering traditions. Its theme combines baked goods with motorized delivery, while Blizzard's official description jokes about the questionable reliability of transporting desserts at high speed.
It is a natural addition to a game that has already given players goblin rockets, mechanical steeds, and more dangerous-looking vehicles than any responsible insurance company would agree to cover.
November's Sweet Tooth Theme Could Be a Treat for Collectors
The motorcycle is not the only reason November's Trading Post looks interesting.
Earlier PTR discoveries revealed chef uniforms, enchanted cookbooks, giant candy weapons, and other culinary-themed cosmetics. As we previously reported, some of those datamined outfits carried provisional prices of 700 Trader's Tender.
They would certainly fit November's Sweet Tooth theme. However, Blizzard's October 30 announcement does not confirm which of those items will appear in the final rotation. Their inclusion and prices should therefore remain unconfirmed until the complete Trading Post catalogue is published.
What we do know is that November marks a considerable change in atmosphere. After October's collection of Halloween-inspired mounts and cosmetics, Blizzard is swapping spooky creatures for a celebration of everything sugary.
For players still recovering from September's enormous Trading Post Outlet and its returning collector rewards, having the headline mount available through ordinary gameplay is particularly welcome.
The Trading Post can be visited in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Dornogal, and Silvermoon City when November's selection becomes available. Players should check the Traveler's Log in their Adventure Guide for the month's activities and progress toward the motorcycle.
For now, the complete shopping list remains a mystery. But at least one thing is certain: Blizzard has officially turned its high-speed dessert-delivery motorcycle into a monthly reward.
And somewhere in Azeroth, an engineer is probably explaining why transporting baked goods on a machine powered by questionable mechanical principles is an entirely sensible business decision.
We would not recommend eating the delivery.
But we would absolutely ride it.
